New boutique hotel to open directly opposite Fusion at Clavering Place Spring 2010

Work has begun on S2 Hotels' redevelopment of Friar House, a Grade II listed, 18th century, Georgian townhouse at Clavering Place.

The architect is seeking to preserve the original features of the listed building in conjunction with providing a contemporary, boutique hotel. On completion, the 200 bed Saints Hotel will include a bistro, wine bar and tearoom as well as an attractive private, walled garden to the front of the listed building, offering alfresco dining in the summer months.

The Saints Hotel is scheduled to open early 2010.
